PATTERSON'S RESTORATIONS (Diorama & Story)
This is Patterson's Restorations. Family owned and operated for 80 years we have always been popular with collectors because of our excellent work. In the office are five dedicated family members Rosa, Alicia, Laura, Kayla and Alexa, who with their computer skills search the world for parts to restore our customer's cars.

Outside the building stands Ivanka waiting for her father Donald to pick her up after she brought in the family's Voisin C28 for its yearly servicing. Next to the building is our truck bringing in a thirties MG from the Bulgari Museum for restoration. We are just finishing their Ferrari, which is in the garage.

In front and on the west side of the office are a crushed Aston Martin, front end of a Studebaker Lark and a body of a 1950 Ford. At the back wall is the chassis of a Dusenburg and a Riely.

Our tech expert is checking out a problem with the missing door of a Bricklin. The owner, Jim Cowan, claims he was only going 75 mph when the door flew off.
Next in line is John Robert's Hillman Minx, where you can see our mechanic removing the rear wheel. John claims he is hearing a strange noise coming from the rear end.

Next to the work shop is Dale Dannefer's beautiful Chrysler, which is in for an engine overhaul. At the entrance to the workshop is Dick Browne's Mercedes 460M that we will reupholster. However, we have been waiting six weeks for the fabric, which will be coming directly from MB. You can also see the Bulgari Ferrari which is almost ready to send back to the Museum.

On the apron is Ray Paszkiewitz's 1950 Ford woody in to replace some electrical wiring and a new battery. To the right, you can see our worker starting to disassemble a 1961 Plymouth Fury for parts, because it would be too expensive for a restoration. And in front, we have our estimator, Ross, telling Tom Kinney how much it would be to work on his Mercury.

Since everything is running smoothly, Paul, the owner of Patterson's Restorations, is out test driving his new Maserati SUV.

right to Tom K.'s Merc custom painted? Never saw one in this color combo.

I've thought of doing something similar but on a more modern theme. I have lots of "parts cars" that would look great in a set up such as this. Thanks for posting such an inspirational piece.
