David Green's Jaguar topic fired me up to post again, that and the fact that I am finally more comfortable with the new format.
Thus, will show a bit more of the LeMans collection which includes the homage to Briggs Cunningham previously posted with the Jaguars.
The LeMans collection is found in this display wall, left side, third shelf down.
The previously posted display.
Basically the car stories found in the various displays in the Car Story Room are evolutionary as shown by lap times and design. How does one solve the speed equation? Hopefully one can visualize it through the race cars shape aided with a bit of data in the labels.
Body shapes are shown from left to right (except the P-series Ferrari group) Squint or use magnifiers to read the labels. Not all cars are winners nor is every year represented, but they are representative of the racing era. The boxy blue #9 at bottom left was the first LeMans winner. The shapely silver/white/black #2 Audi at the bottom right is one of the latest. A history in aero.

Steve, this is a magnificent well organized display. I look forward to your coming posts.
Thanks very much for sharing the photos, Steve - I find it really interesting to see how people display their collections - dioramas, period photos, descriptions, brochures, etc. I think that kind of stuff adds to the collecting experience - awesome!
This is an impressive collection. Do you collect only Jaguars? You are definitely dedicated to the marque.
Hi David G., tedweller, and Nickies,
Thanks for your comments.
BTW - This is one of the most highly detailed of LM cars. A Top Queens model. Am thinking of doing a photo spread of it.

@stewil I have an Autotorque (Max Kernick) model of the winner. If the picture situation gets resolved I will post. How did you get yours up?
Steve, Bravo! and if there is more to 'show-and-tell' please do.
Here are some pics of the superb Top Queens LeMans 1928 Bentley Bobtail shown above. Just saw Harv's winner, Thank You Harv.
Mark I hope these pics will do for you.
Magnificent wire wheels
The screen protecting the driver from rocks is real. Look at edge in front of the passenger seat to see.

@stewil A beautiful Top Queens Bentley Steve (can I be named in your will?
). Somewhere along the way I received a Top Marques version of the No. 6 car and made these pics. But I can't find it anywhere and don't remember selling it. It's not often that a TM is bested, but I believe yours has.
While we are on Le Mans Bentley participants, here are two in my collection.
First. The MCM (Top Queens) Ref.15 1928 Bentley 4.5 litre No.4 winning car driven by Woolf Barnato and Bernhard Rubin.
Second. The SMTS , The Racing Line No.2. 1930 Bentley Speed 6 No. 4 winning car driven by Woolf Barnato and G. Kidson.
And a few images of the actual cars.
