Looking forward to seeing more of your collection Tim. Welcome to the group.
Thank you for the welcome comments. I started collecting about 30 years ago and my collection is US cars from late thirties to early sixties. Started with white metal only but now I think resin is close to 50% of my collection. These days with the exception of the odd Brooklin, resin appears the only other alternative. Having said that, white metal done the way Brooklin is doing it today (and Motor City et al in the past) will always be my choice over resin. I look forward to being a member and participating. In reply to Ted, all the ones in the pictures are white metal.
Very nice collection Tim. I especially like your '50 Pontiac and "55 Merc convertibles. Also noticed a repaint: the Brooklin 1954 Plymouth wagon in coral?
Thanks for posting and joining the 43rd Zone Tim, you've been in the hobby a long time. Am looking for more.
The '53 Olds drew my eye. Did you detail it? Also the blue '58 Pontiac (?) and the stunning early '50's Packard's grill.
Models = Miracles in miniature = Holding History in ones hand
Cheers and Happy Collecting,
Steve
@kenspear Yes Ken the 1954 Plymouth was enhanced by John White. It is one of the best enhancements I have seen.
@stewil I did detail the 53 Fiesta and the 58 Packard was enhanced by John Roberts. The early 50 Packard was a John White enhancement.
Welcome aboard Tim! You have a great collection. Hoping to see more of your collection in the days ahead. Would love to see that coral Plymouth.0
