See John Merritt's comments about the shade of blue chosen.

I'm going on John M's comparison with the 1/24 version elsewhere on this forum. I switched my pending order for the blue one to the red version.

That red model is outstanding.

A fine review of these beautiful automobiles from Cadillac and the really gorgeous replicas from Stamp. Really remarkably well-done 1/43 models and that blue Cadillac definitely looks great. Very nice for sure !

I have been on the fence for that one because the lower body trim looks too much a mix of silver paint and bright chrome. I have the Stamp 1951 Series 62 Convertible that is far better in this matter.

After this review, I finally made the decision to pull the trigger on a black open top as a companion to the white 1954 Eldorado already in my display.

As an additional comment, it is cheaper to buy from Europe than USA most of the time. I placed my order in Italy and always had excellent service for many years. Some Dealers in USA should adjust their markups to be more competitive on the global market

I must be missing something. I shop several European dealers, and the shipping cost pretty much negates any price advantage. Am I looking in the wrong places?

@jkuvakas    My "Top3"  -  I've purchased several times from each (...and have the pics to prove it.  😏)

Never a problem and ALWAYS cheaper than anything I can find domestically.  That being said, however, I've only purchased larger scale replicas.  I can't speak directly to any model smaller than 1/24.

"Happy hunting!"    😀 😎

From USA on the 1/43 market, there are a few to mention for outstanding prices and very fast and affordable shipping rates. The best by far is Burbank House Of Hobbies from California. They always have the latest GLM/Stamp, Matrix, Goldvarg, KESS and others.

Of course, there is also excellent service and fast turn around time from Legacy Diecast and Diecast Direct. All three are really the best on the US market.

@nickies

I have used Diecast Direct for many years, even before I started collecting 1/43 scale models. Always got good service.
