Very cool. With about 2 dozen or so hearses in my collection already, these 1960 versions are a must have for me. I enjoyed seeing this model in person this past weekend, and now I can't wait for the two I have preordered. Thanks again John for an excellent new addition of "My Take"

Thanks for the video, and I appreciated the Landau explanation. Regarding the model, it looks great, especially in green. However, hearses are not my thing. I will pass on the model.

That tall fin looks very elegant, stretched-out like this (if you'll bear with the humour). It is impossible for me to see these without thinking of The Godfather and other classic mafia movies. I reckon it would display well with other such models.
Just terrific! I have my usual gripe about the wide-whitewalls (too wide for 1960... Hey GLM save paint, make them period-correct-narrower ) but otherwise, great looking tooling. I'm so glad to see a 1960 Cadillac (which is often overshadowed by the '59s & '61s ) and a non-padded roof. Undoubtedly, of course, a padded-roof version will come.
Awesome review John, thanks!
The Godfather and other classic mafia movies.
There are no other classic mafia movies except Goodfellows. If the Godfather trilogy is like a fine wine, Goodfellows is like a shot, everything else is third rate mouth wash, although Donnie Brasco & Casino weren't bad. Oh yeah, "mafia" has such a bad connotation, how about "club," or "la familia?" 😏 😏 😏
Another fine look at this giant and attractive Cadillac professional car in 1/43 from Stamp, John ! It seems like astonishing detail even at this scale and shows up really well in your video set-up.
I have a huge black Cadillac limousine from Precision Miniatures professional car series of automobiles in 1/18. At all scales, they are always impressive and there are no better cars to take a "final ride" in !
@charles-rockett I've seen all those except: Public Enemies, Miller's Crossing, and Carlito's way (I think I've seen parts here & there ).
@chris I live a fairly quiet life and so when I'm not listening to Buddy Holly et al , I'm watching movies. As such, I like professionally done, more than 'spectacular' films which some people might find dull, hence the comment about personal taste. But I would strongly recommend those three, especially Miller's Crossing.
I see a movie that was left out - The Valachi Papers. Sergio's forthcoming '59 Ford NYPD car will fit right in.
