A few weeks ago I had five 1969 Camaros. Now a sixth from GLM's Stamp sub-brand has shown up. So I asked myself "Self, why did you need this one?" As it turns out it is different from the others, and all differ from each other. I found an interesting article at Motor Trend's website ( https://www.motortrend.com/features/1969-camaro-options-rs-ss-z28-copo-pace-car/ ) that spells out various differences in this particular year, but also states that a buyer could order their car from a buffet of trim, engine, and gearbox options.

STM691001 is a Z/28 in Glacier Blue Poly, and mine is No. 033 of 109 in this color. Z/28s for 1969 had a Z/28 emblem in the grille and on the rear panel, special striping, and the ZL2 "Super Scooper" hood. The '69 Z/28s had a 302 V8, and the model has 302 emblems on the hood. The grille is V-shaped with exposed lights and the emblem offset to the driver's left, as it should be. This is a really excellent replica, IMHO.

Premium X PRD549 is an RS with closed light covers, RS emblem in the "oval" grille, ZL2 hood scoop, and Z/28-style striping. The color is a close match to Rallye Green Poly. The model dates from 2017 or 2018 (likely the latter). The real RS was available with a 350 engine, and the model depicts this on the front fenders.

Road Champs 69000 is the Indianapolis Pace car version. GM sold 3,675 replicas as a Z11 option (for the convertible), and all were Dover White with Z/28-style Hugger Orange striping. Most had 350 motors but a few had the 396. Road Champs missed the Super Scooper hood and houndstooth upholstery, but printed the SS emblems front and rear along with SS396 on the front fenders. Made in 1998 or '99, and not too bad for 6 bucks back then. A high-detail version from someone would be welcomed.

Now we come to the COPO (Central Office Production Order) ZL1 versions. All COPOs had the ZL2 hood, 427 engines, and the V-grille with exposed headlights. Most ZL1s had rally wheels but a few had "doggy dish" hubcaps on body-color wheels. Some also lacked the rear spoiler and all had unadorned exteriors with only Chevy bowtie emblems and no stripes. Whitebox (Ixo products made for  Model Car World in Germany) No. WB287 replicates a ZL1 though not to the level of detail as its Premium X relative. Probably dates from around 2020. The blue is close to Glacier Blue.

Don Yenko spruced up the plain-looking ZL1 with a rear spoiler, rally wheels, and a unique stripe kit. GreenLight made a version from the Fast and Furious movie franchise (No. 86206), and, except for after-market 5-spoke mag wheels, is a pretty fair replica. No doubt its lineage owes a bit to the Premium X model, given past associations between GL and PCT. Model dates from 2015.

My 6th '69 Camaro is the Trans-Am winning car of Penske-Donohue. Although it's a race car of limited interest to this group, here it is:

What's left to get? Well, an SS convertible with the "ice tray" hood would pretty much round out the collection. Maybe in red, orange, or yellow. Premium X offers an SS coupe, with appropriate side stripes, in red but I'm gonna hold out for a ragtop.

Very informative 1969 Camaro "stuff."  One car I've never owned, 1:1 or in scale. But I like them very much. These are all nice 1/43 examples, but that Road Champs  is a real standout. 😬 😬 😬

All these Camaros look great Harv....I would be very interested in your 1969 Trans Am Camaro. I have the '68 Penske Trans Am Camaro.
