Thanks for the kind comments.

I'm glad my comments struck a chord with many of you collectors. I enjoy writing about my adventures collecting models and traveling to hundreds of flea markets and car dealerships, over the last 55 years or so.It all started with old magazine ads and auto sales brochures. I got serious when I was about 8 or 9 years old. Before that, I enjoyed my Lincoln Zephyr pedal car, and playing in my Dad's or relatives cars, by taking trips while parked in front of the house. My great pleasure was my Godfathers, father's 1941 Packard 120 Sedan. What a beautiful car. He let us sit in it when we visited them in Camden, NJ. I bought my first promo in 1950, at Bill's Hobby Shop, in Trenton, NJ, my hometown, a 1950 Studebaker Starlite Coupe. I have one in it's original box. It seems like yesterday. Great memories. I'll continue writing if it's OK with you.
