Thank you for this info Gianluigi! I will be purchasing the Giulia TZ2, and I am very curious how

Brooklin will recreate the glass domed headlights.

I really like the latest Brooklin models, but headlights are definitely not their forte, and will be a challenge, but I have faith that they can get them right.

Minichamps did the same TZ2 from the museum just a few years ago, plus a bunch of versions by Best. I have the MC and there are quite a few on ebay still.

Lots of Giulietta spiders on ebay too, including a very nice looking Century Dragon model. I only have the ancient Solido model, but once again MC made a nice light blue coupe.

MC also made a red GTA, a very-much road going version. If the BRK looks like that pictured, a race-prepped car, it could be worth having. MC made a white race car, and again there are a lot of other diecasts out there.

I bought AR1, betting that BRK won't make the Le Mans version (also done by MC and TSM). But I will wait and see how many others are worth acquiring.

If they decide to include them. The US versions i general did not have them...

But I assume thy are making them for Alfa primarily so would want them to appeal to Europeans more than 'mericans! I am in either way!!!

All the TZ2s were made for Europe so just ignore me. Don't know what I am blabbering on about... just excited to see the next 3!

I still live in Milano, But I don't have that beauty any more!

My job made me move to the USA and I made one of the biggest mistake in my life, I sold my Duetto. I got married and with a baby coming that was not the right car. However, I still wanted a green convertible so, before coming back home, I bought a green TR3A which I still drive.

Nice models but...

Fist at all, it's nice to see Brooklin is lookin for other niche markets, but I think there are many models at lower price and more accurate end in resin and diecast. I have many of these Alfa they announced my Minichamps and will not be buying them for sure. Brooklin Models are very special, but I prefer a more accurate resin model, also cheaper. If I buy a Brooklin, I do it as a caprice or maybe a model which is not offer by other cheaper manufacturer. This is my opinion about it.

So Karl....what is your prediction on how they will handle the headlights on that TZ2?

If they do the domed headlights with glazing, and a nice headlight under the 'glass', I am in!

But if they do it the Brooklin way with polished or chrome metal, I am out.

I am certainly not criticizing Brooklin for the way they craft their little gems, on the contrary.

I am a big fan of the latest Brooklin models.

But if they do that model, they need to do the headlights correctly.
