I have found few models of any American marque in the early years in scale 1:43.  But here are a few:

The Packard roadster of 1900 is an original toy, complete with its jumping spring mechanism from the early 1950's.  This, along with the more popular Model T Ford version, became the origin of Revell's "build your own old car" construction kits of the 1950s. I built a lot of them!

The other three are all similar models, roughly 1:43 in scale, of Packard limousines of the early years.  The orange RAMI version was modeled after the 1:1 in a French museum;  the white Matchbox Yesteryear is most often seen in its original (c. 1960) dark red version, and the Danbury Mint pewter version is later, probably from the 1990's.  The white Yesteryear is a special issue from Matchbox celebrating 40 years of Yesteryears, issued, I think, in the year 2,000.

Those are some very early Packard models for sure. They are very nice looking. The earliest Packard in my collection in 1/43 is from 1929. I would love to see some very early to mid 20s. One of my favorite Packard models is the 1912 issued by Franklin Mint in 1/24.

I agree with you about the FM Packard, John.   It's one of the few 1/24 models that I have.
