The Hudson's on its way soon

They'v got the '54 Hudson painted up now, well one at least. That will be available shortly. Looks good in two tone. Hope there's more like it to come.

This is the brass master for the forthcoming Sunbeam Tiger, which has been brought forward a tad in the production schedule. Did this car appear in the States in numbers?

The Hudson looks terrific. Great period colors, and lots of chrome!

The most recent issue of Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car magazine has a
feature article on the Tiger. It breaks down the total number of US cars
(6548) by year ('64 through '68 inclusive) although the 101 cars registered as
1968 models were actually carry-over '67s. There were no 1968 US-cars
produced. The largest number registered in a single year was 3020, for the
'65 Tiger Mk. 1.

I've seen a few Tigers and was actually fortunate enough to know a guy who
owned one, so I got to ride in it though I never drove it. It moved out
smartly! All cars were imported, according to the article, with no options and
any options specified by the buyers were installed by Los Angeles Tigers (LAT)
in California.

I have the white BRK Alpine racer which I like a lot, and plan to add the Tiger
to my collection of BRK sports cars when it becomes available.

I want a Tiger, but I'm going to see how the Automodello version appears

Which one is the most attractive now the four door or the standard two door?
Thank you, for the pics, Mike.

The Tiger was a desirable hot car that got lost in the Mustang stampede, but it did "Get Smart!"

The Tiger appeared in the US and Canada in very small numbers. Maxwell Smart, "Agent 86" from the 1960's Get Smart series drove one. I always found it funny that he drove a British-based car albeit with an American engine and Roger Moore's "The Saint" had a Swedish car (Volvo P-series).

Roger Moore had a Volvo because Jaguar wouldn't play ball.

Yes a "Swedish" car assembled in England by Jensen.

Then Volvo moved assembly in house and the P1800 became the P1800S. The S
suffix simply meant made in Sweden with a few styling tweaks.
