Presume Brookline ?
@larry-kemling It's Ken's latest Conquest, not his latest conquest! 😉 😊 😆 Conquest does some great stuff!!!
Maybe we should say it is a model made under the Conquest brand/name by SMTS now part of the same company as Brooklin.

I really like this one, mine arrived (same color) last week. I've had a moment to get a few photos, just need to get them processed for posting.

The story of the conception of this model goes back about 3 years ago, when I called Buz to buy the Conquest 1950 Buick convertible.
I already had the post coupe and the woody wagon.
While on the phone with him, I was telling him my dad owned a 1950 Buick fastback and asked him if he had already done that version yet and he told me he hadn't, and that prompted me to ask if he could have it built.
He said with the current tooling, it wouldn't be difficult, he would just have to work on the rear of the car.
Well, I spoke with him numerous times since then while buying his beautiful models, and just about everytime we spoke, I asked him about it.
About a year in from the original conversation, he told me he had taken steps to start it...
I was absolutely thrilled!
I tried not to be a pain in the butt, but just about everytime I talked to Buz on the phone or through email, I asked him how progress was going and he told me as much as he could without giving up any secrets.
I am now asking him about doing the 1941 De Soto that was featured in the famous car wash scene of the Cool Hand Luke film.
He could even include a figure of 'Lucille' with the model.
Ben, I just watched that scene at Â
I think I will watch it again. Was there a car there?

Of course there was a car there David. It was a Cadillac if I'm not mistaken because I saw the Dagmars.

Rumor has it, that there was a car in that scene, but as many times as I have seen it, I still don't see a car!
Keep your eyes off my Lucille!
Thanks for helping to move this project forward. I remember a neighbor, who had one. I was also hoping for this model.
