The 'M' series of TVR were produced from 1972 to 1979 in Blackpool, England, and offered a few different engines. The 3000 designation refers to the 3.0 liter Essex V6 which they hoped would stimulate North American sales that they relied on to remain solvent. Some were converted in the US to the 5000M where they shoehorned the 5.0 Ford V8 into the cars.
