Very interesting John and you reminded me of something I read in an article a few years ago about some very early 1972 Mopars left the factory with leftover Hemi's from 1971.

The articles main story was about a factory four door 1966 Hemi car (I can't remember the body type, maybe a Coronet?) but a handful were made to be service vehicles like taxi cabs.

Imagine getting a cab ride in a Hemi car!

Edit: I found one on the internet... a 1966 Coronet 4 door post car!

I acquired the blue version without the visor and skirts. Really like that one except on the non visor version you really see that the windshield area is not anything like the real car. It is much to rectangular and wide. It doesn't have the soft curves of the real thing. Click and enlarge the photos below for comparison. Other that a very nice car. My take would be 4 stars.
