I posted a few pictures in September when I received this model. You did a very good review. Indeed, they really did a good job and of course they are at the top of the car modeling art with GLM and Goldvarg.
Thanks for another great video. I have one Stamp model, a 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood, which was one of the prototypes at Chicago/Countryside show. It appears to use aluminum paint for the rocker panels, and it looks fine to me.
I am looking forward to one of your videos on a Stamp convertible to see interior details.

A fine review of this excellent '49 Cadillac model. Very nice !
@ed-davis Some Stamp and GLM models from the past have aluminum foil that is far better to replicate stainless rocker and fender trim parts than silver paint. Some even have 3D SS photo etched trim as the 1951 Cadillac Convertible. The only explanation is just cost cutting while other manufacturers still keep the feature. GIM, Goldvarg, Matrix....... all have chrome or aluminum foil to replicate stainless.

I never heard the P-38 / Cadillac story before - thanks!
A great model and another excellent review. These are all very nice models.

I second Mike's remarks John. IMHO this is one of your best My Take clips to date...really impressive! Btw, the shirt logo is very cool too!
Thank you, gents. Your encouragement means a lot. The channel is doing great, and I have several more videos coming over the next week or so.

John, I watched this video on facebook and commented on it there. I have the Emerald Green version and love it. The model is worthy of your high praise. Thanks for all you do for the hobby.
Count me in too John... love these "My takes" (I also noticed the shirt.....HA!)
Your inclusive and comprehensive reviews coupled with brief, but accurate history make for an enjoyable, experience that's quite entertaining. I particularly appreciate the fact that you "take out your calipers" to confirm precise replication. Regardless of scale, accurate downsizing is mandatory. It's the first question I ask. If I hear the "wrong answer" I pass.
@chris, thanks. I went through two sets of calipers before deciding I needed to spring for a well-made set if I wanted accuracy. The ones I have now are by a company called "Neiko" and seem to be accurate and holding up well.
