For collectors who appreciate the long-roof classics, Esval recently announced a wide range of new station wagon models slated for release in the fourth quarter of 2026. Known for producing unique subjects in 1:43 scale, the company continues to explore corners of automotive history that many manufacturers overlook and this latest group of wagons is no exception.
Station wagons have always held a special place in the hobby. Their distinctive shapes, era-defining design details, and everyday practicality make them a fascinating snapshot of automotive culture. For model collectors, they also add welcome variety to display cases often dominated by sports cars and sedans.
While the wait until late 2026 may feel long, the announcement is an encouraging sign that wagon fans will soon have plenty of new additions to consider. If you enjoy the charm of the long roof, Esval’s upcoming lineup is definitely one to keep an eye on.

@jkuvakas I'll double check, but I don't think they have the stomach for it. Here's an artist's concept...

Great looking models, these should sell extremely well.....
WOW! That's fantastic all of those wagons will be a welcomed addition to my collection - I can't wait. Well almost all of them, there is that one that won't be considered at all. What ever happened to the Ford wagons that Goldvarg announced a few years ago?

@jcarnutz I was wondering that myself John. It was my impression that the '55 Country Squire and the '56 Pontiac Safari were coming this year.
@jack-dodds Practically everyone believed that the '56 Ford face-lift was exceptional; usually face-lifts go the other way.... especially in the 1950's! 🙄 🙄 The entire 1956 Ford line-up looked - and still looks - terrific. 😎
