@ed-davis...and rightfully so! They sit atop a pantheon of beauty and excellence in 1/43 scale...dare I say...any scale!!

@jkuvakas They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Unfortunately, or is it fortunately, I as yet haven't seen this majesty in person as I am sure looking at this model virtually is no match for seeing it in real life. Hopefully, there will come a time when I can head over the pond and see this artwork with my own eyes and realise this is arguably the finest ever example of model car art and one of the greatest interpretations of this and any other century.
With luck when I am able to see this model first hand it hasn't become so famous and so valuable that it will almost be impossible to catch more than a quick glimpse, as it sits inscrutably behind the non-reflective glass of a temperature-controlled security box.

@chris-sweetman, you may be in luck. I'm currently in negotiations with The Louvre for a worldwide tour. We're trying to work out security for the trip.

I'm wounded!
It's just petty jealousy on my part....I guess that's obvious. But if you are feeling kindly and are considering sending me one of the four you own to boost my spirits, I respectfully ask that you suppress the urge.
