What is the one model in your collection you value the most? Why?
Aside from anything most recently acquired, I absolutely love the B&G 32 Chrysler Imperial. The detail is fascinating and I never get tired of looking at it. I feel similarly about the MOC Chrysler Town and Country Sedan Brad Gorman had to persuade me to buy. Now it's one of the jewels of my collection.

A Dinky Bedford Refuse Wagon bought for me by my mother in 1950 at a newsagent in St.John's Wood London.
It has been around the western world with me since.

Cool!
Cool indeed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your posting brought back a few memories, Eric.....
When I first started, my Dad used to help me build plastic kits. I wish I still had some of those kits we built together.
My Dad and I would always do the London to Brighton
Veteran Car Rally and I remember always stopping at Peas Pottage for a ham roll and a cup of tea where there was a vendor selling Matcbox Yesteryears which at that time were all veteran cars...and yes,Dad would always load me up with them....sadly long gone in all my moves.
That was in the days when Gatwick Airport was a grass strip with a wind sock and bi planes took off.

I have the BRK 20 1953 Buick Skylark in Silver.
We were in Bath in 1994 for Brooklin's 20th anniversary. One of the festivities was a dinner boat ride on the Avon. During the trip there was a drawing for this model and I was one of the 20 lucky winners.
My 50 Ford coupe/custom built By Greg Gunn
The black 50 Ford that Greg built for me was the first car I drove on the street.
John, A good question that I can not answer. maybe if you asked what dozen, I could respond lol !
OK, so tell us what dozen or so, You may get some kudos!
It has to be John Roberts` interpretation of the Lincoln "Sunshine"special.
Two BRK 141 Lincoln K`s were sacrificed for this model together with a lot of blood, sweat and tears from John.
I recall that this was one model JR was very reluctant to part with.
I believe it is also unique.
The toy cars I had when I was a kid .......................
these cannot be replaced! Most of them were Matchbox 1-75's but I was given a Dinky Toys MG when I was about two years old (1958). It is minus it's windscreen, driver, tyres etc... the axles are bent and it is chipped! I still have it and this is the start of my 'collecting' in and around 1:43rd scale! To me this one has the most 'value'!
