Perfex’s new DUKW 353 London Duck Tours model has moved from prototype to finished stage and one is headed my way from a French seller…

Outstanding in so many respects: The history, accuracy, the longevity, details, colors, etc...

I would REALLY love to have a WW II US Army version in 1/18 scale. I mention this here, because I may be "forced"  into buying a 1/43 version (or a 1/35 model ), to scale up  to fabricate one in 1/18.

Years ago, while in Boston, I saw DUKWs  being used as tourist rides/attractions. Just an awesome vehicle that's essentially a GMC  water-tight truck w/different skin.

Great model. I rode in quite a few of these over the years. This one is far more elaborate than most which were generally open to the weather.
