That's a beauty ! It sadly seems tougher to find truly stylish cars from anywhere in recent times.

I had a few emails from Manfred maybe 8 years ago, and I thought he had stopped making models.

I seem to recall Dick kicked him off this forum years ago because he bad-mouthed many other manufacturers. Perhaps JK can illuminate. I have the TSM version of the Duesey which is fine by me.

I vaguely remember Dick banning him over being overly critical. That happened to at least one other.

@mg-harv, yes, he infamously posted pictures of Minimarque's '49?, '50? Cadillac all marked up with how terrible a model it was.

What does a Duesenberg have to do with stylish German cars?

Joe Kelly reviewed another of their Duesies 11 years ago - https://www.diecastxmagazine.com/stylish-cars-143-duesenberg-jn-convertible-silver-plated-spoon/

Too bad we don't have the old forum content!  😀     https://www.acdclub.org/forum/duesenberg-acd-forums/8287-duesenberg-collection-in-scale-1-43-by-stylish-cars-shop

@bob-jackman Stylish (with capital "S") was the brand name. Oops, guess I should have seen Karl's links first.

I always wondered about these Stylish cars and by chance obtained four.  Pics, two of which still have yet to be produced in any scale as far as I know? (but I have been preoccupied for about four years, no purchasing and little looking, lots of beautifully done new stuff available now it seems) Anyway, on to the PICS.

My favorite.

Saw this one in another post today

Pics from the bottom shelf. When comparing I always focus on wire wheels and the dash as well as the overall look's fidelity. Here are five others of different makes for comparison.

Benz is from Phil Alderman's One43 built by eMc

Alfa is a Starter Kit, my 1st 1/43 build when I got back into modeling. An old kit whose decals fragmented.

The real wire wheels so fascinated me that I bought, became hooked, and the modeling affliction is still within me.

An absolute stunner at the ACD museum

Steve, these are beautiful models of some of the greatest of the classic era.  Thanks for posting your fine pictures.

(later) Not by Stylish but worthy of note is this 1932 Chrysler Imperial from the B&G Historic Line.

David H.,

That is a beautifully rendered model which is superior to any of the Stylish models, however, B&G (eMc produced I believe) never offered the 1931 French Speedster like Stylish Models did. BTW - the eMc models from Kiev are at the top of the modeling heap IMHO.

Thanks for your comments, Steve.  I just opened eBay to see what EMC products are there.  Wow!  And I'm not sure whether my exclamation is because of the variety, the craftsmanship, or the prices.   I'm going back later and check some other sources.
