Going through my box of 1/64 scale cars, which are not used on my train layout, I found some models still in their original packages. The first I will show is a 1953 Ford by M2 Auto-Thentics, which I likely purchased in the early 2000's. It is nicely detailed with opening hood and doors, plated bumpers and wheels, and aluminum painted chrome trim. I do not remember price, but it was less than $10.00.

I would like to see Brooklin make one of these to go with their four door 1953 Ford.
I have many nice M2 Auto-thentics models. I plan to show more of them.

I second that thought; BRK should do a '53 Crestline Victoria!
The first few years of M2's Auto-thentics were spectacular! With never-before-seen 1/64 replicas of 1950's DeSotos, Dodges, Fords, Mercs (just to name a few) all in brilliant factory colors & tu-tones and with opening features...AND all under $5.00!
How could you resist? I ended up with "walls" of these cars, expanding steadily as other makes, models & colors appeared. 👍 👍 👍
I agree Ed and Jack Brooklin should do a Victoria hardtop. CCL did one years ago but the Brooklin would be a much needed update. I also think this would be a natural for Goldvarg.
I agree Bob, it would be a natural for Goldvarg to do, given their award winning 1953 woody station wagon. In a bigger picture, I would love to see Sergio eventually produce a series of '52 thru '56 Fords including a mixture of station wagons ('56 Park Lane please), woody wagons, Victoria HTs, coupes and convertibles. I would buy every one and I'm sure many other collectors would as well.
Jack, I say bring them on especially the Park Lane wagon.
You sure have a nice collection. Just wondering, do you take some of them out of the packaging or only display them as purchased? I removed most of mine from packaging, often to use on my train layout.

If Goldvarg did this, it could get expensive for me. I have very few Ford Corp. cars in my 1/43 collection and want to add more.

I hear ya Ed. The era of Ford I mentioned is IMHO very much lacking in high quality 1:43 scale; especially the Squire and ranch wagons.
