Your Matchbox  series a while back was terrific; I learned quite a bit, but I don't remember this one.    Until today, I don't think I've ever seen it.   Did you profile this?

This trailer is usually paired with the orange 15a Prime Mover....at least that's what I had as a kid.  15a also was done in a very rare yellow color.

Chris and Jack.
I don't think that I covered this one earlier as I could not find my original No.16-A Atlantic Trailer version which was a different casting issued in 1956. That is the one that you have, quite rare, issued in 1956 and deleted in 1957. That one’s tan in colour with a fixed rear ramp and crimped axles. It has six grey metal wheels. Mine is unboxed.

A reworked version with a fixed rear ramp was No.16-B. Moko-Lesney-Matchbox N0.16-B Atlantic Trailer, First issued 1957. Deleted in 1963. This one has a ridged movable rear ramp, six grey plastic wheels and came first in a tan body. About 1960, this was changed to an orange body. Wheels were still grey but by 1961 had been changed to black plastic.

It was discontinued in 1963.

Jack, your 15-B Atlantic Tractor Super in orange came out in 1959 as a compliment to the Atlantic trailer, It had grey plastic wheels, later changed to black and was discontinued in early 1963.

Apologies, Chris and Jack, memory glitch which I improved on with sleep. I had earlier reversed the two 16-A and 16-B trailers in my memory. The good news is that you both have the rarer and more valuable versions. Sorry for the initial error.

Outstanding info David, thank you very much.  This is a neat little combo that I suspect was often expanded to a "trio"  with the addition of bulldozer or something similar.  Jack, thank you also for your help.
