Auto Transporters

...yes, yes, very cool but the trailers are a bit over-scaled. I fabricated one (in scale ) to match one's ran in New Jersey in the late 1950's, but I'm not certain I'll ever finish it. 

I also "adjusted"  the load of 1958 Fords to look a bit more realistic.  😎 

@chris Great job Chris. You did a really nice job there. Where did you find the 58 Fords? 
I have hoprd to see someone do 58, 59, and 62 Fords for ever...

That is a great collection of M2 Ford transporters ! Excellent colors on all of them, too.

I think those are 1957 Fords. I would also like to see 1958 and 1959 Fords - and Mercurys in 1/64 scale.

Thanks....  but I meant to say 1957 Fords, exactly the same (only "enhanced" ) as those pictured in your terrific pics.  Oops, I goofed!  🙄 🙄

Quite the fleet. I have one each of the Ford, Chevy and Dodge.

Bob, Tony... you guys are TOO kind!    "Masterpiece"  ah?     Here's why the project was abandoned (at least for now ).   

LSS: I had only ONE 1:1 reference photo to work with, but I figured (with all my hauler knowledge ) I could accurately fake the rest.   Later, I discovered TWO additional 1:1 photos....  turns out I GUESSED WRONG!  My trailer dimensions were off!

So..........  I either fix this one or start over. 🙄 🙄 😲 😲 😞 😞 😩 😩 

@chris I think your trailer looks fantastic Chris. I would call it an incredible masterpiece. I've been told I have certain skills, but I could never attempt something like that. 
I remember seeing these trailers pulling into the dealerships back in the 60s. Either my dad, uncle or grandpa got a new Ford almost every year. I was curious how they hauled those new cars so close together without getting all banged against each other during the trip. I really think you did a fantastic job!!!
