These 1/64 miniatures are getting more and more detailed. This Ferrari is a beauty.

@david-green, this just blows me away. It's an incredible level of detail, and they managed to do a pretty good job on the engine!

I've seen several nicely-scaled, detailed 1/64 vehicles that are fully hinged (everything opens ) but this beauty has some of the best SCALE photo-etched detail around. Those door handles are magnificent! 😳  What a super nice model. These high-end jobs  are slowing morphing into jewelry-like works of art.

It's amazing some of the detail being achieved in 1/64 scale. I recently received a Toyota Celica by Gulliver. This is not the kind of model that I would normally seek out but the detail is sheer perfection.

@jkuvakas

I have also seen this level of detail in 1/64 scale diecast and resin trucks and 1/72 scale military vehicles.

Deep gloss, flawless paint, beautiful photo etched wire wheels as well as photo etched window surrounds, magnificently detailed engine bay, premium display case , a very reasonable price and a Ferrari to boot. Whats not to like? I just sold myself. Ordered one a couple of minutes ago! Thanks John. Keep 'em coming.

I ordered it from a Chinese seller on the Bay $32.99 plus $9.99 shipping.

...just a word of caution:

It would be RARE for anyone living in the US who purchases an item from a Chinese company on eBay to NOT pay MORE for shipping than advertised. This "fine print"  is also noted on every such auction. Better than 90% of the time your bank will be hit with a sur-charge/conversion rate premium/etc.  These amounts are usually nominal (less than $20  ).

Whenever possible, it's better/cheaper to buy directly from the overseas supplier. There will be NO hidden fees.

AGAIN....  just a few words of caution.  🙂

Chris: I've ordered many times from Chinese vendors with low or free shipping in the past and never had any problem. However, my cars are being shipped to Canada and not the US. I have however had the problem that you mentioned when I have ordered from Italy. In fact, it has happened so many times that I no longer buy from Italy.

Living in the UK we have VAT - that's Value Added Tax! So, if I make an e-bay purchase from a vendor outside the UK 20% VAT is automatically applied to the advertised price. This is nothing to do with the vendor but with e-bay ensuring I pay up the VAT during the transaction.

Like Ken I have purchased many items from Chinese e-bay vendors without issues and the delivery is pretty rapid.

@chris-sweetman Well, I can't argue with "rapid delivery."   I've had models, from around the globe, delivered to the US with swiftness that rivals items sent from just a few States away; it's all pretty incredible actually. 😎

...and may I add, on-line purchases from BIG BOX  stores can sometimes arrive WITHIN HOURS!  The only time I ever need leave the house is when I want fresh air....   😏 😏

A fine video overview of this incredible 1/64 model ! The detail is astonishing and it truly looks like the real thing, but just 64 times smaller.

I too, have bought many times from China and have always been very happy with speed / price and helpfulness.  To add to Chris' comment regarding U.K. posting, I have often found items from China are delivered by Royal Mail, rather than ParcelForce and Royal Mail deliver to my door without even VAT charges! It is almost as if other countries' international imports are deemed to have a higher value and so ParcelForce - who are the ones who handle VAT and duties are designated these source nations? I buy model cars on AliExpress - no problem.
