I heard that Walmarts and Targets in the US are carrying the new exact scale 1:64 Pink Skips.  Marketed by JADA but made by Majorette.  Very nice castings! I picked up these 3 at my local Wally World last week. Porsche Taycan and Land Rover Defender...  Highly recommended.

We continue to see more nice 1/64 scale models. Thanks Karl. One question, does anyone know the meaning of term “Pink Slips” for model cars?

I just assumed it was in reference to racers, back in the day, who'd "race for pinks."Pink slips"  were vehicle ownership papers; the winner would gain legal possession of the loser's car by winning the pink slip.

Therefore, should you buy a "pink slip"  1/64 car.... you now own it.

It's a strange name, I think, for a line of imported French diecast.  But I see online that they have 1:24 chase car versions - in PINK of course, to counteract the GREEN ones from Greenlight perhaps?

@chris Race for the pink slips - that makes sense.  But their range is Majorette based - I think that not many Land Rovers and $$$ Porsches go drag racing!  hahaha
