I think every kid had this (the green) one. The quintessential ubiquitous MB right? However, I have never seen the pink "superfast" version and that shocks me!
Well, once again.... I don't remember the Superfast version. I think this crane truck found its way on everybody's H.O. RR layout. 😏
Another nice model. This is the first time, I have seen it. Thanks again.

@david-green I loved this blue Jag as a kid and have one in my collection.
65-B, Jaguar Mk.2 3.4 litre Sedan, 1/72 scale. Introduced 1962, discontinued 1967.
Red with silver grey or silver painted metal base, green tinted windows and opening hood to reveal detailed engine.
Grey plastic tires changing to black in the last year or so. Box side end says Jaguar 3.8 but car base says Jaguar 3.4.
Shades started with red but metallic red and maroon versions were made. I've shown some of the variety here.
Grey plastic wheels. Note maroon shade on second image. Can get quite dark.
Metallic red.
Black wheels.
65-A, Jaguar Mk.1 3.4 litre Sedan, 1/72 scale. Introduced 1959, discontinued 1961.
Blue with black metal base and grey plastic wheels. No glass in windows. While listed as 1/72, it is slightly smaller Than the 65-B replacement......
That blue Jaguar is very nice ! I have that one, too, although it may be a bit darker in shade.
I remember this one...loved these opening features when I was a kid! 😊 😊
This one just arrived via ebay last week! I'm slowly filling in the missing pieces.....a work in progress. Obviously this is one purchase where the seller had to combine shipping. (sorry)
Wow-wee! A MIB pic of classic MB (I think every kid had this one).... Love it! 😀 😀 😀
66-A, Citroen DS19, 1/74 scale. Introduced 1959, discontinued 1961.
The real French Ciroen DS19 was made from 1956 to 1974 with many unique features.
This Lesney/Matchbox was painted in light or darker yellow shades with a black painted metal base, with unglazed windows and grey plastic wheels. The final issue had silver wheels.
I had this one as a kid and recall that although I thought it was weird looking I really liked it. Back in 1990 when I realized with surprise that these toys were actually available and had become collectible, I made the decision to slowly assemble a couple dozen of my favorites. This has grown to several hundred of the regular wheels type and many Accessory and King series models as well. The very first one I found at a flea market in mint condition was this Citroen, which I still have. It cost me $22, which I now realize was too much at that time....Lol. It is amazing how deeply nostalgic this small collection is for me and how much enjoyment I get from it.
