I had this RAF refueler as a kid and loved it.  I finally found a MB one a couple of years ago and added it to my collection.

I have these two colors; they are very cool.  I had the silver one as a kid.

Never had this one...but ALWAYS loved it! For whatever reason, this little model made it onto countless H.O. scale model railroads back in the day.

Amazing, I did not know you could buy replacement parts for these items, which are over 60 years old.  I do not need any parts, but am curious where you could buy them?

I bought a windscreen for a Corgi, Healey speed boat from a seller in France who creates various screens, doors and such parts that may break-off and be lost with time.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363385011011?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338722076&customid=&toolid=10050

It's interesting that someone can run a business, or side business producing these parts: clearly lots of enthusiasts at work.

@david-green This is an extraordinary collection.  I bought one matchbox model every Saturday, as from about 1968, with my pocket money - so far more recent than these. But looking carefully some seem curiously familiar. Perhaps from collection of neighbour's father? My overriding sense, however, is how rare must these be? I've spent a couple of decades searching on-line out of curiosity, for various different types of models and have never found any of these.  It's a treat to see them, so many thanks for showing them to us.

Very nice!  My favorite of these was always the "Players Please" decal.

They'd take a dim view of placing cigarette advertisements on the sides of children's toys today ;-0

Looking at these early Matchbox vehicles, I thought I would step back to an earlier number. I have not talked about cars so far, just other vehicles. This Ford Anglia is a British automobile of some significance.

Ford Anglia

The Ford Anglia is a small family car which was designed and manufactured by Ford UK. It is related to the Ford Prefect and the later Ford Popular. The Anglia name was applied to various models between 1939 and 1967. A total of 1,594,486 Anglias were produced. It was replaced by the Ford Escort. It gained popularity internationally because of its appearance in several Harry Potter films.

The Ford Anglia as seen in the Harry Potter films.

The Flying Ford Anglia was a light blue Ford Anglia 105E Deluxe that was enchanted by Arthur Weasley to fly, as well as to become invisible, with the use of a specially installed device called an Invisibility Booster. It was also modified so that it could fit eight people, six trunks, two owls, and a rat comfortably.

Anyone who's known the '60s Anglia would appreciate the wizardry of Mr. Weasley's modifications.
