This is a Tootsietoy diecast model of the 1907 Stanley Steamer in yellow and black. It's a three seat automobile in two rows, a rather unusual arrangement.

The rear seat was sometimes called a mother in law seat.

@bob-jackman

I wonder what happened to the father-in-law?

@mikedetorrice Hi Mike This Tootsietoy 1907 Stanley Steamer is a fascinating model and one that I haven't seen in the metal. Fabulous photography too.

Thank you, Chris. This one is pretty old because I got it new  ....and now I am pretty old ! I believe many Tootsietoys were manufactured here near Chicago. I have a  Stutz Bearcat by them, too.
