This is a lilac two-toned and grey-wheeled 1958 Cadillac post coupe Sixty Special that I got in the early 1960's when I was little. It would sometimes be on my train layout and I still have the car (and the trains !). Matchbox did a very nice job on this one.

One car that is NOT part of my very small Matchbox  collection....but it (very much ) should be!  It was sometime in the mid 1970's when I first saw this car.... it was love at first sight.

I have a few of these in my MB collection with various minor differences.  Had it as a kid and loved it.

Mike, do you know approximate scale of the model?

Roughly 1:72 for MB of that era but they definitely do vary as David Green has shown us many times.

I am not sure of it's exact scale, Ed. Here is an image with a U.S. quarter next to the Matchbox Cadillac for scale.

1:80th was stated in the Matchbox catalogues of this period.
