About 10 years ago, Revell produced several stock Chevrolet models including this 1959.

It is a successful model, well proportioned. I chromed mine with bmf and replaced the wheels with smaller ones... 😊

Nice model. I did not remember Revell making 1/64 scale cars. Thanks for photos.

Too funny!  I was just looking at mine the other day and thought, "I really should take a few of these OUT of their packages."  It's an excellent 1/64 model! 😎

@domi7777 Nice upgrades.  I have never BMF a 1/64 car. 🤔 🤔 🤨

@chris

What other 1/64 model cars did Revell make? Just a bit of trivia, some of the plastic model planes made by Revell in 1950’s are at or close to 1/64 scale.

@ed-davis I can't say I'm aware of all the 1/64 cars in the Revell series at that time, but I recall purchasing all the makes/models available.

I have their 1959, '61 & '64 Chevrolet Impalas (along with the low rider variants produced ) and the 3-car set of from the movie American Graffiti. The cars are nice, with opening trunks, but they kind of got "lost in the sauce"  because Ertl released, about the same time, basically the same 1/64 cars with opening trunks AND hoods. Please excuse my poor pics. 🙄

In addition to the mentioned years,  I have the 1963 Impala, 1970 Monte Carlo and a 1996 Impala. I forget the 1939 Sedan Delivery.
