If that's a real 1:1 that front bumper must weigh at least 400 lb !

@100ford2003, "Road Hugging Weight!" Automakers didn't discover inertia until sometime in the late seventies.

Gorgeous! It also makes me remember; a fad, back when I was a teenager in the early sixties, was to paint the inner front wheel wells. Mostly it was done in white. After a brief  interlude to rethink the intensive additional clean-up, the fad faded.

That was one fad I just could never understand; highlighting the area of your car that gathers the most dirt.  I wonder if the '54 Buick Skylark started that?

"By Jove!"  I just Googled, "1954 Buick Skylark" and as you'd suppose from memory, yeppers, there they are in all shades and colors. Of course we car guys must have outgrown it along with curb-finders (curb-feelers in other locals) raccoon tails on antennas, mud flaps (now called splash guards) and fuzzy dice and JC Whitney chrome exhaust extensions.

No one told me raccoon tails were out. Of course; I get it now. They're very hard to attach to that little black nub on the roof of my SUV. Mine kept flying off.

You may want to delete your post JK; the Raccoon Alliance bunch can be pretty nasty I hear.

@perrone1 Tony, I'll have you know that my 55 Imperial has curb feelers and to top it off, it also has a prism mirror for viewing overhead traffic signals.

Bob;  I'm sure that the mag and steel wheel manufacturers pray that curb feelers never come into fashion again.

@jack-dodds, it shouldn't be a problem. I only use their tails.
