Cadillac interiors

They look very seventies. Not sure about how comfortable they would be on a long trip but great in a living room if you did not mind the style.

@david-green Very comfortable. You don't sit on them, rather....  you sink into them.

Most of them were awesome for long drives. By then, the seat looked plush, but ergonomics had also been an influence on interiors for several years. Most seats, particularly in luxury cars were supportive in the right places and had generous armrests. And, of course, the rides were cloud-like soft and smooth. 

well, I like the over-the-top versions.....
