@jack-dodds I can understand why the 4X4s are the majority where you live but I don't understand it in the south other than for one upmanship.

Your part of MS is pretty much immune I guess Bob. Other parts of "The South" do get occasional snow. In the 31 years I have lived in my current county, I have owned 6 pick ups. Every one has been a 4X4. For the mentioned occasional snow, dirt & gravel roads and the hills around the Great Smokies.

Ounce of prevention I guess.
