LOVE THEN...LOVE NOW
Sipping my coffee I realize my life is a book of anniversary's. I remember days, dates, firsts, and lasts. Good times, happy times, bad times, sad times past.
It's been two years since my wife Lorraine and I were dealt the news of her cancer. We thought our journey was over. Through talented doctors, nurses and prayers answered from God, we're still together. No matter how out of whack our world has become, having her at my side makes traveling through each new day, the only day that matters. God has stayed with us.
Good morning, I love you when we wake, and good night, I love you when we go to bed. In between those two routines are smiles, hugs, and holding hands. It's our simple formula for how our love works for us.
Only today counts and as long as we share it together, it's a good day.
THANK YOU PRINCESS, I LOVE YOU!

Just as a side comment to my "Coffee Talk" above, last month Lorraine had her six-month check-up and she is still in remission. We shared happy tears. She is the bravest, kindest, caring, and most giving person I've ever known. I feel blessed every day that she is mine.

That is a great story. I wish you both many happy and healthy years.
