I've always felt that the '52, '53, and '54 Mercury's were "customized looking" but yet they weren't . I have always loved all three years of them. It was if Ford's had been customized. The best of both worlds.

I'll go one better George.... I still love the entire FoMoCo line-up (Ford, Mercury & Lincoln) from 1952-1954. Great styling!

@chris Add '55 &'56 + back up to '49 or FoMoCo 1949 to 1956 + '60 to '66 for me. Chrysler Corp '57 to
'59 + '65 to '71. GMC '61 to '64. Just generalizing.

What on earth did you do to make the blank space appear on your post? Whatever it was, hopefully you don't do it again.

I don't know how or why. I don't like it either and agree, hope it doesn't happen again.
