@perrone1 Tony.....this subject is very debatable but I'm far more concerned about the radiation emitted from microwave ovens when preparing Orville Redenbacher popcorn!

I harbor none of the same trepidations. My microwave is powered by coal.

Wise environmental and personal health call Tony; thanks for doing your part. As shown here in this EPA case file picture of your neighborhood, taken on the last Super Bowl game day, the smoke from your popper rises up and away from human contact and basically just harmlessly disappears out of sight....and out of mind.
You two may be on to something here. Our neighborhood HOA has banned microwaves and gasoline-powered cars. It has not been nearly as effective as what Tony is doing. Here's how we looked on Super Bowl Sunday. BTW, the brisket came out great!

@jkuvakas Hmmm....something tells me the HOA executive were at the table that Sunday. Any criticism of your barbecuing process would be unfounded anyway John as nature takes care of any issues.....wind clears the air and rain washes off the neighborhood houses. "John's feasts are no problem at all...its been this way since cavemen grilled brontosaurus in their cul de sac parties....no need to change now", stated this Kuvakas Barbecue attendee upon being interviewed while trying to find his way home.
@jack-dodds, oh, yeah...his home...that's yet another unfortunate story...

Indeed......ashes to ashes, coal dust to coal dust.......
My country is still heavily active in getting every one to buy an electric car, spending lots of money.
Even carmags here still believe in electrics.
But IMHO the writing is one the wall as sales are going down....
Not because people can't afford them, but people just don't buy the climat-crap anymore.....
As a matter of fact, I really do believe people bought them because they thought they could drive cars cheap.
But it is the same with electric bikes,: spending more than E3,000 on a bike is just ridiculous when you consider you will have to say goodbye to your precious one after 10 or 15,000 km.
That is a great (and devastating) point about so-called "electric cars" !
@mikedetorrice Good grief is there no end to this "electric" talk? Next thing they'll try to force JK into using an electric barbecue.....oooooh, there will be blood!
