In the first 9 months of this year Dodge sold about 7,000 Chargers..... not exactly "stellar sale figures." 😔 😔 😔 Many voiced their anger about the elimination of the HEMI option and Stellantis/Dodge stated months ago (as many of you know ) that it will now return.
Regardless of your feelings on EVs, this story is really about an OEM, yet again, destroying their brand equity & customer loyalty. Yes, yes..... everyone makes mistakes, even giant corporations - but when the same mistakes are repeated time & time again, well, you know.....
Such a beautiful car. It's a shame the car can't be offered as an EV and/or ICE vehicle. The technology is just not transferrable.
@perrone1 Actually Tony, the Charger is one exception as the model was designed to be either a EV or ICE model as we will see in the upcoming year.

100% correct John. As I noted, HEMI and other ICE iterations are on the way. EV Chargers - 2 & 4 door models - will look essentially the same as their ICE counterparts. Apparently, ICE customers are waiting. If Dodge offered a convertible - I'd be waiting too. 😏
John/Chris - FANTASTIC. Dang it; I'll want one!!
I love the new look. Wouldn't it be great to have the Hemi back WITH all wheel drive, wow. Talkin' about a formidable foe being able to transfer all that power to the ground. The ev is AWD, why not the ICE version?💯
