It’s been a long time coming for a model I’ve always wanted but always out of my price range. One came up on eBay at a buy it now for under a c-note, looked decent at a glance, I hit the prompt pretty hard. After purchasing I went back for a closer look. Nothing broken or missing, needs a proper clean-up and polish, all in all I think iI’m going to be as a pig in sh…uh, mud! After a little research I believe I kind of lucked out by getting the revised version with the proper antenna placement, supposedly harder to find. I haven’t received it yet and I already made a little display.
Congratulations, that looks great ! I still have my 1/18 Ertl Bullitt Mustang and it is a terrific diecast of the famous movie car.
This is great news…enjoy your new model 👍
Always fun to land a wanted model. Congrats Kevin.
Congrats Kev, my wife bought me the Mustang/Charger set one year for Christmas. Enjoy brother, you'll love it. Mine has the correct rear mounted antenna. 😊
Congrats! I love those holy grail moments!

Thanks to all, will post a pic when I receive the model.
well done sir! I envy your buy timing Kevin. Looking forward to seeing it in its prepared display
Good going Kevin...Do you have the Charger? You can't have one without the other.

@kevins It's always great to finally land the one for which you have been searching. Congratulations!
I received the Bullit Stang today, pretty stoked. It’s one of those rare instance's where it looks much better in person than the auction photos. These shots are pre-cleanup, not bad at all really, cleaning can wait. A little rash going on but I’m thinking it was a C-note well spent. The Charger was never on my front burner, I like the little GT because of the McQueen connection.
@kevins yep real good one there Kevin, doesn't look like too much cleanup work at all.
