I recall several times when I snapped off the key tab of my Hereford tin(the Count of corned beef IMO) and had to pry it open with our trusty can opener/piercer. Basically a blood letting.

Wasn`t "BOEUF" ,expressed in high volume,the sound one made as the can,still filled with wedged-in product, dropped to the countertop as attention shifted to staunching the bloodflow?
