I do recall those key-lock Chinese finger puzzle corned beef cans.......y` had to be real careful not to accidentally put your severed fingers on the sandwich.......or let the dog get to `em

I recall several times when I snapped off the key tab of my Hereford tin(the Count of corned beef IMO) and had to pry it open with  our trusty can opener/piercer.  Basically a blood letting.

Wasn`t "BOEUF" ,expressed in high volume,the sound one made as the can,still filled with wedged-in product, dropped to the countertop as attention shifted to staunching the bloodflow?

@john-barry Exactly right JayBee....and the Hereford company also included it on the label as a proclaimed warning in order to avoid injury lawsuits.

@paul-rouffa, I've heard rumors that the original location has a different recipe for their crust.
