Originally used to protect Buddhist monasteries and monks of Tibet from animals such as bears, wolves, snow leopards.
They would sleep in the day and roam loose at night...on guard. They are intelligent and stubborn.
Perhaps the world's most expensive dog. Imagine trying to bathe, groom, and cuddle these critters!

A 1:1 is too big; I think a 1:5 scale version would be perfect.

Here's another "thanks." I've been looking up this Tibetan Mastiff. Very interesting! But not for me.
