Here is a '53 Studebaker coupe, not hard top, in an unusual color that beckoned to me......

so I responded with some photo edits. It was mostly the color that attracted me and, as you see in the edited photos, I've made the color brighter and deeper.

As found:

53 Studebaker Coupe PS (0)

Cleaned up the background, did selective dechroming, shaved the rear bumper and changed the paint color:

53 Studebaker Coupe PS (1a)

A very slight chop and section:

53 Studebaker Coupe PS (2)

Slightly more chop and changed it to a hard top:

53 Studebaker Coupe PS (3a)

I've always liked this body style, both in post and hard top styles, and try different things just to see what they look like.

As usual, courteous comments are welcome.

Enjoy!

Mamma Mia - last edit is sensational! Goodbye post and the color is right up my alley - I'd call it a Butterscotch. Bravo!

Such a classic and good-looking design it easily handles various configurations and looks really well in all of them.

I think the last one looks great.  I can tell it has been chopped, but not so glaringly.

The switch to a Starliner from a starlight was an improvement.
