and I love this car! But.......the front clip has always looked just a bit shorter than it should be to balance with the extended rear quarter panels. So, I took a couple of edits to see what it looked like.
As found:
With a slightly extended front clip:
Front clip extended a bit more:
Note that I cleaned up some of the trim and perfected the shut lines on the edits, again, just to see if it improved the presentation.
Your courteous opinions, especially from Bob Jackman, are welcome!
Enjoy!
I can't see the differences and I'm sorry if I have been discourteous to you.
The 1956 Cadillac always looks gorgeous and easily handles such adjustments. One of my favorite images comes from a GM Photographic publicity shot that I believe was taken of this automobile inside near a modern stairway at the new General Motors Technical Center.
Very nice work! I'll take the middle one, a subtle but nice improvement.

To be honest; at a glance I didn't pick up on any differences.
A fast glance at the three thumbnails does make it more difficult to discern a major difference. But enlarging them reveals a terrific improvement. The shut lines on the first pic almost looks like the car has those aftermarket chrome door strips to prevent paint chipping when opened into a foreign object. I like the third one best! NICE work Terry!
@bob-jackman: Bob, you haven't been discourteous to me at any time. My specific reference to you is due to your unrelenting preference for unmodified cars. Tony Perrone is correct - the difference is subtle but the impact fairly significant. Please keep your comments coming, Bob, I do appreciate them.
