I have four collector cars and each has a different width white wall.

1955 Imperial  4"

1961 Corvette  2 3/8"

1963 Thunderbird  1"

1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V  1/2"

On EVERY collector car I've ever owned, I replaced the tires (if they needed replacing) with PERIOD-CORRECT white-walls. It still UUURRRKKKS me to see, say a 1958 Chrysler, riding around on "modern 1" whitewall radials."  Or a 1967 Cadillac with "wide whites!"   The tires MUST BE CORRECT!!  (On my scale models too! 🤨 🤨 )
