The clue is in the bracelet made from red and white yarn. The first day of March is a centuries-old Bulgarian holiday celebrating the arrival of spring. It is unique for Bulgaria and the guy in the meme wears a very traditional bracelet called "martenitsa". The holiday is beloved and widely celebrated by most Bulgarians around the world. If you see a person wearing martenitsa in March, you can guess where they from are.
