I don't know if that is the right word.
Years ago I though up a car, and had PS pics made and even a 1:18 model of it made, the Charnet, a '67 Coronet convertible with a '66 Charger grill and interior. I just found a car built years after my thoughts with the charger grill & dash and it is all black. They did not put in the rear bucket seats or the full length councle. And the big difference it is a hardtop with painter bumpers & rims.
Charnet
I'm not a fan of painted bumpers but the car is cool!

Yes, I remember Marlowe Johnson crafted that replica for you.
Don't feel bad about being "ripped off." About 100 years ago I was discussing automotive design with a Chrysler engineer who told me he was noodling around one day and doodled out a Viper (V-10 ) powered motorcycle. He showed the rough, but well-done, sketch around the office, which included his boss.
Years later Chrysler designers crafted the V-10 Tomahawk concept which became a big hit on the show circuit. Guess who never received ANY credit? 🙄 😔 🙄
I remember your images well and being much taken by the car. Another reason not to feel 'done' is when the borrower of the idea totally #//@X$ it up !
Nice to know that great minds think alike, Bruce.
