Love the comparos when they are about cars like the rest of the site. I can't eat donuts & I don't drink coffee, so I don't really appreciate the substitute for cars.
This is the Lounge and it is the one area that we wander from the automobile theme. I'm glad to see that flexibility which allows us all to legitimately wander off topic once in a while. I enjoy John B's car selections but don't mind donut and coffee discussions, and other diversions.
Each to their own, I guess.
@david-green Well David my life wouldnt be the same without your very funny pics, related postings, and then the sometimes amazing responses to them. I can assure you there is often actual group laughs, and even once, the "online German Shepherd" pic, my tablet was passed to strangers at the cafe table next to us for a great response.
I join with Jeff to thank you for your humorous and encouraging words, David. Your ever-positive attitude and graciousness are high points in my day.

Thank you John. This website is to me about comradely discussion about our collective model interests and also a bit of fun. I’ve learned a lot and your moderation has greatly helped make this an interesting site to visit on a daily basis. Much appreciated.
I have nothing against other subjects being brought up here, When it is a subject like COFFEE & DONUTS it does bother me a bit: Don't like the taste or smell of coffee, no problem except, seems like everybody is actually addicted to it and if your not drinking coffee in the morning people make comments and look at you like you are strange[guess I am]. So I finally let my feelings out forgetting the unspoken rule here always be positive, no negative words here. Donuts, I love them but as a diabetic I do not eat them any more, not right to put up with this harrassment here, coffee & donuts, ha ha. Imagine how Cops feel about the subject. Sour grapes! SORRY.
I know, better to say nothing. I will commence to shut up now.
Not to diminish the dietary importance of coffee and donuts in any way, but I'm pretty sure this entire thread is tongue-in-cheek....or cruller-in-cheek as it were.

I couldn't agree more. Thanks very much David; much appreciated.
