The house pictured in the Hollywood Hills was Busby Berkeley’s house my uncle lived/ pic
right down the street, our house was a few streets over in the Hollywood Hills. The street leading to the house (Busbys) is Beachwood Drive. Many of those houses are still there including ours.
The Corvette photo was taken around the corner from the Palace of Fine Arts.....I just took a photo from the same spot a few weeks ago

Paul, I don't think that photo was taken near the Palace of Fine Arts as the location...
... of that building is east of the Golden Gate. This photo is taken west of the Golden Gate. I'm thinking it was snapped near El Camino Del Mar at the western tip of The City. Yes? No?

You are correct Marlowe, I meant to say Palace of legion of honor museum .....I always get them mixed up. As you drive south through Sea Cliff you have that stretch through the golf course with great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and mouth of the Bay, then it makes an abrupt left turn and then you find yourself at the Palace of Legion of Honor.
We go by there all of the time on our way to Marin County. We take Geary west to the Great Highway (past the Cliff House) and then hug the coast south down to Half Moon Bay (about 40 minute drive)

The Corvette was also the Original 1952 Prototype not production.
Krebs 10 Minute Car Wash was in Detroit.
