Car dealerships of the 50's & 60's decades were so much fun to browse through. Naming all the cars by make and year was easy. This CLASSIC photo of EAST SIDE FORD in St. Paul, Minnesota from 1956, features many sharp looking Ford's on their used car lot. I visited this dealership several times with my dad when I was a kid. Fun memories!

Good picture, George! Am I the only one who dates a picture by the cars displayed?
I used to walk pass this dealer in Weymouth Landing (MA) on the way to grammar school.
it had been a train station until 1959
and became one again in 2007

Having had the fun of annually visiting car dealerships with my Dad each Fall when the new models would come out, seeing old dealership photos always brings me back to being a kid again.

Remember as a youngster (13-14) traipsing up and down East Lakestreet in South Mpls in the mid 50s visiting all the used car lots, all the cars had the keys in the ignitions and I sit in them even starting them up and if by chance they had automatic transmissions even dare running through the gears lol☺️
Try that now!!

Did you live in the Twin Cities as a kid? I did the same thing as you did at most of the dealership up and down University Avenue in St. Paul, which turned in to Lake Street in Minneapolis. Honestly, in the 50's and 60's every brand was represented on those streets.
