I'm all in. I'm still saddened that WCPD didn't get these done in 1/24. I had mine pre-ordered. 😥
I generally prefer the 2-tone application on the '57 but man oh man is this one a beauty!
I like the Gorgeous George reference, since I've authored a book on pro wrestling that pays homage to the Gorgeous one in it.

I'm with you on this one. I too, had the WCPD '57s ordered. I had talked to Brian when he announced that he was going to do them, and I was set to buy one of each color combo produced. Oh yea, I'm saddened!

@georgeschire Wow, I’m impressed George, I really only noticed the reference to Gorgeous George when I was typing it out. Looking at you photo I would imagine you’ve also been given that moniker!

LOL, I've never been called "Gorgeous George". I've got a face only a mother could love, and she put me (and my two younger sisters) on the doorstep when I was age 8 and told us she never wanted to see us again. True story! My Dad didn't have a place of his own, so we were put in to foster homes. Not together, but all separate homes. Over the course of the next 3 years, I was in three different foster homes. Wasn't a good time in my life.

@georgeschire That’s a remarkably sad story George, And although I don’t know you personally I can get a sense of you from your posts. You seem upbeat, optimistic, and positive despite your past, and I’m thinking that past has made you a lot stronger and bigger person. Before I get too sentimental I want to say one more thing, I like your face!
A very sad story George but you obviously overcame adversity and made a success of your life. Good for you.
@georgeschire You're a strong man George, you overcame that adversity and then some. I commend you my friend. My biological father walked out on me and my mom when I was a baby, I had a truly wonderful step-dad who raised me as his own. He's my true "earthly" father. God, I miss him. RIP Pops.😥
@geno How fortunate for you Geno that a man of character came into your life. He truly was your "earthly father".
Thank you Kevins, Geno, and Bob. Obviously what I shared above about my younger life, was only a nutshell version. Long story short, my teenage years are not fondly looked back on, but I've always believed that I was in charge of being the person I wanted to be. I still believe that today.
Sadly, my sisters didn't fair as well and their lives have been and still are very messy. I'll admit that I get angry when I hear people blame all their current woes on their past and seem to enjoy living as a victim to all that is behind them. But everyone reacts differently to adversity.
I found hobbies as a young guy and have always put myself in to those hobbies when things were out of whack in my life. And then I was blessed beyond words when God gave me a princess to share my life with. Some here who have followed my posts know that my wife and I have been together for 53 years (this month) and married for 51 of those years. We're still on our road to Forever together and God is with us every day on the journey.
THANKS AGAIN GUYS!
