At an old car show this past Sunday, this '58 Imperial sure caught my eye. Admittedly I wasn't an Imperial fan, but how could I pass this beauty up? Bumper to bumper and inside, it is royalty on wheels showing how much fun it was to be a kid in 1959.

Oh great! So yes, it is a '58 and I corrected the year in my post above. But now can you or someone tell me how to get the "White Out" off my computer screen?

It's been said that the 1957 Imperials were Virgel Exner's favorites among all his "Forward Look" cars. IMO, they are gorgeous (and huge ). I'll never forget the first time I stood next to one - I was impressed! 😲

I've always thought the Imperials were just okay in the looks department. Sometimes seeming to be a little overdone. And being honest, I thought the Chrysler was always better to look at than the Imperial.

Wow - you're tuff to please. 😀 😀 😀 I'm a '59 Cadillac guy, so.. um.... I have no issues with '57 Imperials except when they have 2 headlights instead of 4 (quad ). That looks goofy to me. 😫
