WOW! Love his dioramas! I'd love to have a couple of those and hang from the chandelier to adjust them! LOL!

Won't disagree that it takes money.  But I also think that if the passion is there for something, most of us will find the money.  Probably never to the degree this individual has, but when we enjoy something, in our cases collecting cars, we've all found the money for the ones we want.

I've said my entire life that a person with a hobby and the passion to collect, is a happy person.  And I honestly believe that if more people would find the hobby that excites them, depression and other woes will be lessened.  I know it's been my medicine since I was 8 years old.

He probably doesn't have any ex-wives; which is a big part of the reason he has the money to buy so many models.  Just kidding.....sort of. Wink

He probably doesn't have any ex-wives;

@ 0:20 he notes that his museum started "...about 30 years ago because I was kicked out by my wife...."    Listening to that again, I confess that this doesn't mean they separated; she just insisted he move all his toys elsewhere.  So yeah, maybe he doesn't have ex-wives...just one who's very understanding.  😏 😏

I guess the trick in coming out of a failing marriage financially unscathed is to be such a pain in the butt to live with during the final stage that the missus agrees that just seeing the back of you is all she wants.   This may be fantasy thinking however.......LOL.
